The story takes place in a time when 70% of humans live in space to build space cities. Between two major powers, the Dorushia Military Pact Federation and the Atlantic Ring United States (ARUS), there is a small neutral country called Jiouru, which has a good economic boom. Tokishima Haruto is a high school student living in Jiouru. He finds a humanoid robot called Valvrave when the Dorushia army attacks and... When the name of the company Sunrise is mentioned, it's always two major powers at war, and in between, a neutral robot is found that wants to establish peace between the two groups, like the Gundam series. But it seems like this time, we have a much bigger project in front of us. This series will not be like the repetitive Sunrise series. At first glance, the story seems repetitive - again, two major powers and a weak, neutral country caught between them. Instead of having a Gundam, we have a Valvrave. What makes me say that this anime will be different from the previous one is the directing team. With this directing team, we won't have an anime where everything is summarized in the battle of giant robots.
